Federals Take Twin Fords - August 10, 1861

The 2nd Kentucky Infantry (CSA) defended Twin Fords from the Tribble Farm on a hill north of West Ford and the Village of Twin Fords. They were attacked by the 2nd and 3rd Ohio Infantry, arriving on the Hogbin's Store Road. The 2nd Kentucky deployed in an orchard, but was soon overwhelmed and forced to withdraw to Keyser Ford (east).
